Nursing Necklace

What is a Nursing Necklace?

Every mom knows that while you are feeding baby, their little hands can wander and start to pinch the back of your arm, pull your hair, or just get distracted by the new task of taking in all the activity in the new world around them.

Nursing necklaces are a way to provide baby with something “sparkly” for them to play with, tug on, or even occasionally drool on to help stay focused on the task at hand. You don’t have to be breastfeeding to enjoy this necklace. It’s very beneficial with bottle fed babies as well.

My pendants are made in a continuous loop and wired securely closed to prevent beads from coming off. The pendant size will vary slightly from each to the next, but are approximately 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Each piece will contain a different color or texture of beads to stimulate and occupy baby. The pendants are placed on a soft satin cord and feature a lobster clasp closure. The total length of the necklace is 20 inches so baby can reach it.

These necklaces are NOT meant to replace a teether toy. Please supervise baby when wearing, because even though they are small, accidents can happen. I use beads, lead-free crystals and gemstones that are non-toxic since baby will be grasping and playing with the pendant.

Your new necklace will come packaged in a tiny metal tin that is great for storing your nursing necklace to throw in a purse or diaper bag on the go.
